Excel Dial Arounds

Excel Telecommunications 1010 457 and 1010 297 dial arounds started charging more to call from the US to mobile phones and pagers in some countries in October 2002. This has been an increasingly common trend in the long distance industry over the last few years. The long distance companies call these rate surcharges "International Mobile Termination" surcharges. They charge you because the international phone companies charge them more to complete calls to mobile phones and pagers. Since the basic international rates for 1010 457 and Excel 1010 297 are not very competitive, we usually don't waste space listing their International Mobile Termination rates. You can visit their Web sites at links below to see those charges.

All 1010 457 and Excel 1010 297 calls add a per-call connection fee on every call. The amount is 40¢ per international call. Connection fees are calculated in the call-length costs shown on 10-10PhoneRates.com

Excel charges a flat $1 or $1.12 per month Universal Service Fund (USF) fee. Flat USF fees are shown in the "Monthly Fee" column on 10-10PhoneRates.com
